Learn how to be a change maker in your community at State Library Victoria’s Big Ideas for Young Minds event.

Join us online to hear from some of Australia’s brightest leaders in social change, including:

  • Oxfam Australia’s Marketing Communication Manager, Ivor Vaz, who will teach you how to develop and pitch an idea.
  • Co-founder of Who Gives a Crap, Jehan Ratnatunga, who will share all he has learnt from being a social entrepreneur. And this is only the start.

Please note for school groups: One ticket = one Zoom connection for your group. If you need more than one connection please book the correct amount of tickets (i.e. two groups that are joining from different locations in the school will require two tickets, three groups joining from different locations in the school require three tickets, etc).

This program is designed to address the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 Year 5 and 6 Civics and Citizenship and the Critical and Creative Thinking capability. A full outline of the curriculum links is listed in the teacher booklet.
