What’s your dream home? Does it have a roof top jacuzzi? A man cave? A garden filled with pet dinosaurs?

How to Build a Home takes you on an immersive adventure into the experiences of ‘home’ for people with disabilities. This unique and intimately personal performance will shift your preconceptions and open your mind to what is possible.

For the past year, Ever After ensemble members have worked tirelessly with theatre directors Natalie Rose, Marnie Palomares and Alice Osborne to devise this new site specific work.

Ever After Theatre Company is a unique ensemble of emerging actors who happen to have an intellectual disability. The group is based in Rozelle, NSW. Currently ensemble members meet part time and create their own work as a way of communicating with the broader community via experimental performance.
