An Arrente/Arabana man from Alice Springs, Aaron Pedersen is a trailblazing actor on screen and stage.

Aaron moved into acting after initially training as a journalist. You may have seen him on the small screen in Wildside, Water Rats, City Homicide, Jack Irish, The Secret Life of Us, Total Control and High Country. Aaron’s film credits include Dead Heart, Saturday Night, Dirt Music, High Ground, Mystery Road and Goldstone. His leading role as Detective Jay Swan in Mystery Road, the series, saw him win an AACTA International Award for Best Actor in a Series.

He is also a disability carer, having cared for his brother Vinnie for many years and is also noted in his community as an outspoken and passionate advocate for cultural values.
