One Billion Rising Melbourne brought over 2,000 people to Melbourne’s Fed Square in 2013 – dancing to a universal rhythm – calling on the community to rise up and say NO to the violence & exploitation experienced by 1 in 3 women around the world. In 2014 we will dance for Justice – we are bringing the community together to say ENOUGH – it has to change – women deserve better outcomes – they deserve to feel safe and empowered. Our message has been embraced by Australia’s leaders across the community, political and entertainment sectors – they too support our efforts to remove the barriers to justice experienced by women all over Australia and indeed the world.
