SAPOLOGIE celebrates the voices of Melbourne’s boldest young artists in an evening of spoken word, music, and storytelling. With Roots in the Congo, SAPOLOGIE embodies a vivid and unapologetically stylish resistance, showcasing incredible talent and vision.
From the creator of TALES OF AN AFRONAUT, and ENCRE NOIRE, w?ni Le Frère and company present another honest, moving work. If previous shows are to be an indicator of audience expectations, this evening promises to deliver. Be ready to be challenged and inspired.
Featuring performances by Yaw Faso, Naomi Sepiso, Laniyuk, Philly, DJ Jewlz, ziimusic, Amal, Kee’ahn and more still to be announced!
Please note: Sapologie will be Auslan interpreted, however, due to the volume of material we will be unable to translate each one of the performances. We appreciate your understanding.
