Made by and for First Nations people, everyone is welcome at this glittering event starring Jessica Mauboy, Casey Donovan and Deborah Cheetham AO.
Blak & Deadly: The First Nations Gala Concert, the only WorldPride Official event at the iconic Sydney Opera House, will be hosted by ‘Faboriginal’ comedian Steven Oliver and will feature performances from music duo Electric Fields, award-winning artist Mo’Ju and Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under star Kween Kong.
Pop singers Samuel Gaskin and the Merindas, and Indigenous Canadian tenor and musician, Jeremy Dutcher, will also take part in the evening of festivities.
Alongside this, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs will provide a stunning addition to this incredible line-up of First Nations LGBTQIA+ talent and artistry.
As you sit under the sails of the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, you are visiting Tubowgule – a place where Aboriginal people have feasted, sung, danced and told stories for many generations. Our country’s past, present and future awaits you in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Sign up to the Sydney WorldPride newsletter to be the first to know when headliners are announced. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people can access discounted tickets through the Sydney WorldPride MobTix program.
