Wrap up your students’ year with Book Bash: a daily writing workshop with some of the country’s biggest authors!
On Tuesday 9 December, learn how mastering setting can immerse readers in your world with the multi-talented and proud First Nations author, Shelley Ware.
On Wednesday 10 December, unlock your imagination and bring your own unforgettable characters to life with CBCA Honour Book of the Year author, Huda Hayek.
On Thursday 11 December, one of Australia’s bestselling authors, Morris Gleitzman, will share fool-proof tricks to get a brilliant start to your story – first time, every time.
These free, daily one-hour sessions will run online at 10am and stream live into your classroom over Zoom. Give your students the opportunity to learn from some spectacular Australian authors and win lots of books!

About the authors
Shelley Ware is a proud Yankunytjatjara, Kokatha and Wirangu woman who currently lives in Naarm/Melbourne. Shelley is also an AFL media presenter, teacher, author, curriculum writer, MC and facilitator.
Huda Hayek is an award-winning Australian children’s author. Her second book, Huda Was Here, was shortlisted and went on to win CBCA’s prestigious Honour Book Award.
Morris Gleitzman is one of Australia’s most popular authors, having written 45 books. He was appointed the Australian Children’s Laureate for 2018–2019.
