Pop this one in your diaries! Our ‘Made in Merribek’ series continues this Sunday 15th March with @georgiafieldsmusic and @musicbymagnets – all thanks to the @artsmerri_bek Flourish Grant program who made this program possible. First up, fresh from winning an international Danny Award (US), MAGNETS is a pop artist blending classical roots with indie nostalgia. Known for her vibrant costumes, lush harmonies, and disability advocacy, she channels the vulnerability of her lived experience into emotionally charged songs with drive. This performance with be Auslan interpreted, free and all ages! ?#artsmerribek
Gah – it’s happening! Georgia Fields, absolute legend and long time supporter of FV will be gracing our scruffy performance space this Sunday. Georgia conjures a mesmerising spell of art-pop alchemy in her dynamic live show.
The singer-songwriter shifts deftly from electric guitar to mini-synth and textural vocal looping, “painting entire worlds with her tunes” (Frankie Magazine). Thank goodness @artsmerri_bek and the Flourish grant could support such a fabbo line up for our Made in Merribek sessions ? This gig will be Auslan interpreted. #live #free #allages #coburg #merribek #instore #sunday #music
