All roads lead to Mount Isa for Outback Sounds, the ultimate Outback party under the stars, headlined by Kaylee Bell (NZ) and The Wolfe Brothers, two of Australasia’s most exciting country acts.
Kaylee Bell captivates audiences with her powerhouse vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and award-winning performances that celebrate life, love, and the spirit of country music. The Wolfe Brothers bring high-energy, foot-stomping country and heartfelt storytelling, making every show an unforgettable experience.
They’re joined by Zac & George, bringing the fun with unmistakable harmonies and down-to-earth charm. William Barton, with an extraordinary blend of didgeridoo, voice and contemporary composition. Along with our 2026 Trail Ambassador Taylor Moss adding her bright, fiery country sound and crowd-favourite anthems.
Homegrown Trio, whose sibling vocals and heartfelt songs have taken them from The Voice Australia to Nashville add their magic, with newly crowned ‘2026 Toyota Star Maker’ Jarrad Wrigley and Luke Geiger bringing big energy to the stage.
Lineup competition winner Jessica Holbrok joins the bill, along with a strong mix of local talent including Bulldust, Cherry Divine, the Outback Line Dancers, the Mount Isa Community Ensemble, and performers from the Mount Isa Folk Club. Together, they bring homegrown voices, energy, and stories that make the night feel truly connected to the community.
Step onto the red dirt of Buchanan Park and feel the festival come alive. Boots tap, voices rise, and the music carries across the arena as friends, locals, and visitors gather to share the Outback Sounds experience. Line dance, wander between sets, or simply soak up the energy under the wide-open sky.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
