Join us for a celebration of NAIDOC week that will see you actively caring for Country, getting your hands dirty and putting endemic species in the ground as part of a long-term planting project!

We’ve been targeting the verge along Kent St and Hayman Rd over the past few years to extend an Ecological Corridor from the remnant banksia bushland at Jirdarup down towards the Canning River. See the progress here.

This event is FREE, but please register for catering purposes.

We’re so glad you’re keen to help grow a greener, wilder Vic Park! Whether you’re diving into the infill planting or helping grow a wilder Jirdarup Bushland, these community planting events are all about restoring habitat, boosting biodiversity, and connecting with good people (and native plants). Everyone is welcome—no green thumb required!

What to expect:

  • A few hours of hands-on planting
  • All tools provided (just bring gloves if you have them)
  • Free tea, coffee & fun vibes

Let’s get our hands dirty and grow something beautiful

*Registrations essential for catering purposes.
