The Moth hosts live storytelling events in cities around the world. Open to anyone with a five-minute tale, hopeful storytellers put their names in the hat and those chosen will take the stage to reveal their true tales. Share your story or relate to those of fellow Fringe-goers at this very special Fringe edition of The Moth.

We would really love have a deaf community member tell a story in Auslan! Have you got a story to tell? Do you have a friend who would love to stand up and tell a 5 minute story? Please share this.

The nights theme will be LOST AND FOUND: Prepare a five-minute story about loss and redemption. From lost thoughts to found sounds. The cardboard box behind the desk, a leftover umbrella, a lonely shoe, glitter you found in your hair after the Melbourne Fringe Gala last year, a raggedy dog-eared sci-fi novel. Tell us your tales about trade-ins, leaving things, liberation, loved ones behind and about re-discovering hidden paths, buried emotions, a sense of self.
