“I jolt awake at 2:20am every morning, heart thumping, pulse racing…2:20am. It’s always 2:20am”.

Four ordinary people, all bereaved, meet at a creative writing class and are forced into a reluctant bond.  Together they grieve, laugh, behave badly, & reveal far more about themselves than they bargained for.

2:20 AM is drawn from Lister’s own experience of losing a family member to suicide, along with real stories of people directly impacted by suicide.

2:20 AM is produced by Anvil Productions, Jesuit Social Services and Support after Suicide.  This project is proudly supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria and City of Yarra.
