In recent years, the music industry has targeted much of its attention to diverse line-ups and events that are accessible, but how do we practically run an event that is for everyone? What do we need to consider?
This panel will provide practical tips for running an inclusive event from an artist’s perspective. Hear from four artists about what they consider when organising their own shows.
The panellists include China Aleisse (Floating Key), Siobhan McGinnity (Magnets), Simona Castricum and Elly Scrine (Huntly). Following the panel is a performance by Elizabeth (Totally Mild). The event will be moderated by Fjorn Butler.
This event is wheelchair accessible and will be Auslan interpreted. The SIGNAL building has all-gender bathrooms.
For all ages
Signal is a creative studio for young people 13 to 25 years located on Northbank in the heart of Melbourne. The program offers young people the opportunity to work alongside professional artists in a collaborative way, through multi-artform workshops and mentoring.
Signal provides emerging and established artists with opportunities and spaces for exploration, creation and showcasing.
