Hi, my name is Sean Flynn and I am a producer from Ch 7’s Sunrise program. I take care of the LIVE weather segments with Sam Mac.

Monday-Friday, Sam Mac broadcasts from a different spot around Australia. Something different and somewhere different everyday. Fun, education and heart is what we try to bring to each broadcast.

On Monday 6 May, between 5:30am-8:30am, Sam Mac will be broadcasting LIVE from Rashays restaurant in Punchbowl. We would like to gather a group of the deaf community in Sydney and give our viewers a snapshot of Auslan and the strength of the deaf community.

I have deaf friends/family and still feel like I have lots to learn about Auslan and the positive community of Deaf people in Australia. So for some time, Sam and I have been wanting to setup a morning where we give our viewers a snapshot of the deaf community.

Basically Sam Mac would broadcast his crosses from the restaurant between ?5:30am-8:30am?. 7 live crosses, one every half an hour. They are 2mins each and over the course of the morning,

We reach over one million viewers around Australia, so it’s a great positive story for the deaf community around the country.
