Anthologies can be a wonderful way of networking, increasing your literary footprint, contributing to causes you believe in, sharing your experiences, or even starting a writing career. But anthologies have a specific and unique structure, pitching, and publication process that can be opaque from the outside.
Please note: this panel discussion will be Auslan interpreted.
The panel will discuss:
- Reading, understanding, and pitching to a brief
- What short form writing works well in anthologies (and what does not!)
- Responsibilities of anthology writers
- How to leverage an anthology publication towards further writing opportunities
- What to expect from the anthology publisher
