This solo work from internationally renowned dancer/puppeteer Duda Paiva draws on his childhood experiences in Brazil. Suffering an undiagnosed debilitating illness that rendered him temporarily blind, his search for healing led to surprising discoveries. BLIND transforms his experience into a metaphor about disability, rejection, and ultimately, resolution. This rich theatrical tapestry of dance, puppetry, audience interaction, sound and light, is funny, moving and powerful.
BLIND premiered at Festival Mondial des Theatres de Marionnettes (France) in 2015, to critical and popular acclaim before touring extensively throughout Europe.
