Unfold a story of best-laid plans and bust.
True-crime, historical fiction and immersive performance come together in Blind Spot, the latest work by performance-maker Daniel Santangeli (Room 328, Wheyface). Unraveling backwards in time, Blind Spot follow events set in motion by a failed get-rich-quick scheme, propelling you through prisons, courtrooms, media frenzies and small-town homes.
Experienced two-at-a-time, audiences are taken through Australia’s crime of the century: now forgotten, buried in archives and left to the imagination.
Leading you through a series of interactive and audio installations co-created by set designer Yvette Turnbull and sound designer Rosalind Hall, Blind Spot unpicks the social architecture that can lead people into having everything to gain and nothing to lose.
“Exhilarating, engaging immersive theatre.” – Richard Watts on Room 328; Nominated for 3 Greenroom Awards
“…no two performances will be alike, and no two experiences of the same performance will be alike.” – Nicole Eckersley, Arts Hub on Wheyface
