As well as being an iconic South Australian event, Carols also offers a unique opportunity for friends and families to gather each year, lay a picnic rug on the lawn, and break bread while celebrating Christmas.

In 2022, St John Ambulance South Australia became the custodians of Carols by Candlelight, preserving this 80-year Christmas tradition for the community for years to come. 

Join us on Saturday December 13, 2025 for the 81st year of Carols by Candlelight.  Nowhere else in South Australia will you see a Christmas line up like this.  We are excited to offer reserved seating with prime viewing of the main stage. On the day:

• Sponsor activities and samples, superscreens and catering from 3.00pm
• Reserved seating area opens at 3:00pm
• Pre show entertainment 5.00pm – 8.00pm
• Carols 8.30pm – 10.45pm.

Simply purchase your tickets and bring a print-out of your ticket or a copy on your smart phone for entry into the reserved seating area. Your ticket includes a battery operated candle.
