This inclusive, participatory workshop will give participants an insight into Rawcus’ creative process – from the rehearsal room to creating new work with a diverse Ensemble.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience aspects of the devising process used to create their latest work Song for a Weary Throat. It will also involve improvising, generating work and collaborating with live singers from the Invenio Ensemble.

The workshop will be a combination of performance tasks, devising exercises, reflection and exchange.

The workshop is for: Artists with and without disability interested in the creation of contemporary performance.

Access: This is an inclusive and accessible arts opportunity for artists, performers, and theatre makers with and without disability. The workshop will be Auslan interpreted and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
