Kate Hood has had a career an actor, writer and director, which lasted for over twenty years. Her film and television credits include Prisoner, Dancing in the Dust, The Flood and Blue Heelers and she has worked as a promotional voice-over artist for the ABC.

She works extensively as a voice-over artist, working commercially and has become a strong advocate for actors with a disability, sitting on Actors Equity’s newly formed Diversity Committee as Deputy Chair.
