Each year, Melbourne Zoo is transformed into a place of wonder and runs a special event for families of children with disability who may otherwise find it difficult to visit the zoo during our peak times. In partnership with the Association for Children with a Disability (ACD), Melbourne Zoo will be hosting Dream Day on Saturday 26 March 2022. This means that our wonderful zoo will be closed to our members and the public throughout the day.

While Melbourne Zoo will be closed on Saturday 26 March 2022, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo will remain open to our members and the public.

Dream Day is free and exclusive for families who use ACD’s services. While unfortunately it has now sold out for 2022, if you do use ACD’s support services please keep an eye out for information next year from them about attending Dream Day in 2023.
