Join Emil on an exciting adventure as he catches a train to visit family in the big city.  When something valuable is stolen, the thief soon discovers Emil was not such an easy target. Streetwise city kids, a hardworking single mother and Emil’s past brush with the law add grit and nuance to this satisfying tale, based on Erich Kästner’s 1929 novella.

Told in an intimate theatrical style by two skilled actors immersed in smoke and mirrors, miniature worlds and a cinematic score, Emil and the Detectives is sure to intrigue anyone with an enquiring mind!
