Mount Erin College proudly presents its 2026 production of Footloose the Musical!

Get ready to cut loose with a high-energy celebration of music, dance, and self-expression.

Featuring unforgettable songs by Tom Snow, Dean Pitchford, Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and more, Footloose is based on the iconic 1984 film that inspired a generation. This electrifying stage adaptation follows city teenager Ren McCormack as he arrives in a small town where dancing has been banned, challenging the community to rediscover connection, healing and hope.

While packed with humour, heart and some of the most recognisable songs of the 1980s, Footloose is ultimately a story about navigating grief, embracing growth and finding the confidence to express who you truly are. As the people of Bomont confront loss, change and tradition, they discover the power of community, understanding and finding their voices.

Filled with energetic choreography, memorable characters and an uplifting message, Footloose reminds us that even in difficult times, joy, expression and connection can bring people together.

Please note that the 1pm matinee performance on Saturday 1st August will be Auslan interpreted.
