FORGE is an inclusive, participatory workshop that offers insight into the devising practices and processes of the Rawcus room.
The workshop invites participants to work alongside members of the Rawcus Ensemble and explore themes, provocations and questions from the company’s current show in rehearsals. Participants will be led through a series of physical exercises, text generation tasks and creative prompts that allow for on the floor exploration and discoveries. FORGE is an experiential insight into methods of ensemble performance making.

Time: 10am – 3pm
Cost: Free, via EOI process
This workshop is suitable for anyone with an interest in inclusive performance practice. You must be 18 years or over. Suitable for people with and without a disability. The workshop will be Auslan interpreted. No prior performance experience is necessary. Places are limited (~20 participants), and attendees will be selected with an aim to bring together a diverse range of people and practices.
