A live art event led by neurodiverse young people.
Genius invites you into a series of immersive encounters with eight unique thinkers, where each Genius will present their perspective on the topic of their expertise.
Did you know that Prince Bernard gave Ian Flemming ideas for the creation of James Bond?
That Gough Whitlam was the Prime Minister for a mere 1701 days?
Or that an American, Robert Porter “Bob” McKimson, gave the Tasmanian Devil world wide fame, through brining his illustration, Taz, into Looney Tunes?
With subjects ranging from Royal Families of the World, Australian Animals, Linguistics, 21st Century Fashion and Gough Whitlam, this event is a unique opportunity to see life through an alternative lens – a surprising, eclectic walk through the inner – workings of a group of exceptional minds.
Conceived by Amelia Ducker, with Sally Lewry, Tom Middleditch and designed by Amaya Vercellio.
Duration: approx 50 minutes
‘Has the mind working at all angles, drawing lines between concepts and teasing out possible significances’ – John Bailey, Real Time on I Saw The Second One Hit
‘… even more amazing was your vision in giving adults personal trainers between six and ten years old. I can’t decide if that’s madness or genius. I think probably both” – Morag Deyes MBE, Dancebase: Scotland’s National Centre for Dance on Fitter. Faster. Better
