Girl, Interpreted is a bilingual comedy web series made in Melbourne.

Lillian, a nervous Mandarin interpreter, stutters and stumbles her way through a world of ‘hectic’ cultural misunderstanding.

Inspired by local writer and director Grace Feng Fang Juan’s professional experience as an interpreter, the series follows the heroine as she enters into the lives of Chinese migrants during crucial moments and is tasked with voicing their grievances, passions and pleas to the wider Australian community.

For Lunar New Year see all five episodes, including an introduction by series creator Grace Feng Fang Juan and producer Nikki Tran.
