That petrol car you’re driving? That might well be your last. Electric Vehicle (EV) technology is speeding towards new possibilities and it’s coming to our streets and homes. Coupled with the rise of renewable energy, electric vehicles can reduce air pollution and reliance on fossil fuel use. The question is, what do we want all this to look like in our cities? Our expert panel will consider how all this new EV tech can lead to more accessible and inclusive transport options. They will delve into the urban design and infrastructure upgrades needed to support EV uptake, and how to encourage diverse socio-economic access to electric transport.
The panel will include Helen Rowe (Transport Program Impact Manager, ClimateWorks), Dave Budge (CEO/Founder, Jaunt Motors) and Prof. Mahdi Jalili (Research Lead, RMIT’s EV Living Lab). This event will be hosted by Vanessa Toholka (RRR Byte Into It).
