The Melbourne University Law Revue is an annual sketch comedy show written, directed and performed by students that has entertained audiences for over 40 years. Run by the University of Melbourne’s Law Student’s Society, the Law Revue seeks to promote student comedy and theatre and raise money for a good cause. But don’t be fooled- just because it’s a Law Revue doesn’t limit the comedy to law in-jokes!

As the “kindergarten of Aussie comedy”, the Melbourne Uni Law Revue lays claim to some of the biggest names in Australian entertainment, including comedic geniuses Sammy J, Celia Pacquola, Magda Szubanski, Steve Vizard and the team from Working Dog (The Castle, Thank God You’re Here, Have You Been Paying Attention?).

Written, directed and performed by 10 students, audiences are invited to join the cast for a night of hilarious performances, sparkling wit and topical comedy. Covering everything from politics to pop-culture the 2017 show will leave nothing off the table.
