Melbourne is coming up rainbows

The 30th Midsumma Festival opens with an all-day-and-night party-in-the-park at Melbourne’s Alexandra Gardens.

Bask in the sun to a buzzing collection of live music, DJs and sneak-peek acts from the Festival to come. Catch some shade and enjoy cheap eats from Melbourne’s best food trucks as well as fresh brews and bevs brought to you by Ladies of Lager.

Get lost in the clouds with family-fun activities, community stalls and the best in queer sports presented by Team Melbourne.

There is even a dog show.

When the sun goes down, Midsumma Carnival turns into T Dance. Inspired by evening dance parties of the early 1900s and now a main fixture of queer festivals across the world, this ostentatious and outrageous dance party curated by Midsumma and JOY FM will have you seeing rainbows.
