Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Parramatta Park with a free, two-stage concert. Plus spectacular fireworks, food trucks and family-friendly activities.
What you need to know:
- Is there an access zone? Yes! There will be Accessible Viewing areas in The Crescent (top of the hill) and The Paddock, along with the Coronation Hill site. The accessible buggies will drop to any of these viewing areas as well as a number of stops around the Park. We are having an event map designed as we speak (should be available next week), which will have more detail on the accessible buggy routes and viewing area locations. Stops will be clearly signposted, and the buggies will arrive at each stop approximately every 12-15 minutes. This service will cease between 8.45pm and 9.45pm.
- Interpreters on screens? In the Crescent Stage the interpreters will be on the screens (please note, this stage requires a wrist band). This will also be streamed to a second site at the event. The Paddock Stage will not have a screen.
- Lighting on interpreters? Yep!
- Platform for interpreters? They will be on stage with the acts!
- Need to arrive early to grab a spot? Yep!
- Grassed area? seated area? Grassed, BYO seats
- Map of where the interpreters will be / access zone? Coming soon…..
Parramatta’s much loved NYE fireworks display and concert is back for another year of family-friendly fun. This year the event is bigger than ever, with more ways to celebrate including a dedicated family zone, amusement rides, roving characters and more.
Entry is free to all areas, but we will be offering wristbands for The Crescent Concert Stage based on a first come first serve basis to manage crowd numbers. Our dazzling fireworks will be visible from all locations throughout the event.
