Canberra Symphony Orchestra presents Rediscovering Music in Sydney supporting people with hearing loss to connect meaningfully with music, gain understanding and build community.

Created for deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) adults, those with hearing aids or cochlear implants this workshop day highlights how music has a powerful emotional and uplifting impact, reduces feelings of isolation, and promotes quality-of-life.

Featured performances from CSO musicians curated specifically for this audience will be facilitated by audiologist and bassoonist Kristen Sutcliffe. Lectures on sound, music, hearing, and the brain; and a lived experience Q&A panel designed to offer practical strategies, share experiences, and create community for DHH adults.
