A witty, music-filled fairytale of heroes and villains.
A dragon has held sway over a cowering village for centuries, when a brave Lancelot arrives to vanquish the beast. The problem? The townsfolk have become quite accustomed to the tyrant, actually.
Beneath this uproarious satire lies a keen-witted exploration of the cycles of corruption and complicity that govern our society and the parts we play in our own downfall. Melbourne’s comic maestros Tripod will bring original music to the Malthouse Theatre stage — as well as playing the riotous three-headed monster — alongside Jimi Bani and Nikki Shiels, in this fanciful production directed by Marion Potts.
