Melissa has a Diploma of Interpreting and has completed the Native Auslan Interpreting Course and Foundations of Theatre Interpreting.
Her favourite show? ‘Auslan interpreted performance of The lion King was a show I will never forget. It was my first introduction to accessible theatre and I have never felt such a sense of belonging, pride and inclusion, sitting along with my Deaf family and friends watching the talented interpreters at work.’
Mel also likes cooking, cleaning (I have 2 young boys!), music, attending live shows and playing with her dog.
